Dobbelganger Outdoors Wearable Sleeping Bag is a jacket, a coat and a sleeping bag, all in one package. The purple part is the jacket, by extending the gray part you have a coat and by adding the blue part you have an entire sleeping bag.  

Relative advantage

Strange appearances aside, the Dobbelganger Outdoors Wearable Sleeping bag have a few benefits. If you are on a hike and you get cold or it starts to rain, you can extend the leg part. If you suddenly feel the need to take a nap or you`re planning to go on an overnight hike, you can extend the last part and then you have a sleeping bag. It can come in handy if there is an emergency, and you need to keep warm. However, I don’t think these benefits will convince potential adopters. The coat part might prevent freedom to move when you are hiking. People might also think that it is unpractical to sleep in the same jacket that you have used all day. It might by clammy or wet if it`s raining. If you are on an overnight hike you usually bring a backpack, regardless if you use the Dobbelganger Outdoors Wearable Sleeping bag or not. People might see it as more convenient to bring a separate sleeping bag.

Compatibility

The design of Dobbelganger Outdoors Wearable Sleeping bag is familiar to most of the potential adopters. It is consistent with their existing values and past experience. Just by looking at it you get an idea of what it is and what purpose it has. It is quite similar to a normal sleeping bag. The only thing that might be conflicting with sociocultural values and beliefs is the design. The product looks kind of silly. People might see it as inconsistent with their views of what`s stylish or fashionable.

Adaptability/ Re- Inventability

It can be used for three purposes, as a jacket, coat and a sleeping bag.  I can`t see how this product can be adopted to anything else than a jacket, coat and sleeping bag. There are few opportunities for re- inventability of this product.  

Observability

The result of using Dobbelganger Outdoor Wearable Sleeping bag is observable. When using it you can stay worm when you are outdoor hiking or sleeping.  The observable result makes it easier to communicate the products benefits to potential adopters. One problem is that you rarely see people when they are sleeping or hiking. So it can be a problem to communicate the message out to the general population.

Trialability

Potential adopters can try the Dobbelganger Outdoor Wearable Sleeping bag in the store before buying it. If they buy it online this option is not available.

Conclusion

I think this product will be adopted in a low extent, because of its silly looks and the fact that potential adopters might have some problem in perceiving the products characteristics as relative advantages. One improvement that could increase the rate of adopting is if the Dobbelganger Outdoors Wearable Sleeping Bag was all in one color, for example purple.  Then people might not perceive it as strange looking and it would look more like a normal sleeping bag.
